Matchmaking Program
In acknowledgement of the fact that
institutionalized strategic philanthropy is at a nascent
stage in the Arab region, the El Sayed Foundation has
launched a new initiative called the “Matchmaking
Program” to help support the sector. This program’s main
objective is to match philanthropists and philanthropic
organizations with initiatives and Community Service
Organizations that are in need of support. To do this,
the El Sayed Foundation will provide the following
services:
- Provide regular updates
through the Foundation newsletter about best practices
among civil society organizations in the Arab region
- Carry out organizational
assessments for Foundations seeking to give grants to
CSOs
- Introduce philanthropists and
foundation executives to CSOs that require support
- Work with CSOs to identify
potential donors from the philanthropic sector
